Most mainstream media nowadays ¹ have embraced, or at least acknowledged, humanity's predicament. ² So there's less wil- and/or slothful inattention and ignorance, less mincing words. More of an effort to try and present reality to you and me, waking us up from our snug smug slumber.
Things will be unravelling in awkwardly unfamiliar ways. We could be preparing to brace ourselves, but I don't sense any sense of urgency. :l Right now there is, and is, the time to stop turning oiling the wheels of progress and chasing techno pipe dreams to maintain that progress.
Our best and brightest shouldn't be building towards a future that doesn't exist anymore, but instead stop and try to imagine or for the STEMmily gifted among us stop and start to identify what's wrong and what's coming, and plan & build accordingly. To not be caught off guard, to maybe soften some blows, to deal and cope with the future we set up for ourselves – to plan and be ready for it as best we can.
But no, business as usual.. Что дѣлать?
Any case not gonna be gluing meself to unsuspecting works of art to make an unclear point and a fool of myself, wasting a lot of unpleasantly spent time while doing so. Shouting from rooftops? Been and be fiddling there elsewhere already. So let's just.. blog? Why, yes – why not, let's just. Be blogging like it's 2002 & 375 CO₂ ppm. Or like it's the early Magdalenian again & ~200 CO₂ ppm. A trace of life, when the ʬ turns TEAL.

¹ The New York Times and much more so the Guardian had been adequately reporting for a while, but now The Associated Press, say, or Vice, or even our very own VRToo, too. And just the other day The Washington Post, too.
² Yes that sounds weighty, but it's the weight of the world, after all. Where to begin.. Perhaps at me homesite? :) Otherwise surely the internet can tell you all about endtimes.
